TYLER BRADT

White Salmon, WA

Tyler first put a KAVU sticker on his kayak next to a remote river in Norway 20 years ago. Since then he drove a Japanese Fire Truck from Alaska to Argentina entirely on vegetable oil (Oil and Water Project), led a six month kayaking expedition to Eastern Africa, (Africa Revolutions Tour), broke the world record for highest waterfall descents twice (Dream Result), kayaked the highest volume rapids on the planet (Congo, the Grand Inga Project), and most recently captained a sailboat around the world in a four year multi-sport expedition to explore the planet by sea, land, air, and rivers. (Wizard’s Eye Expedition).

Today Tyler lives in a tiny house that he built with his father next to the White Salmon river in Southern Washington. He helped start the Columbia Gorge Junior Kayak Club and is involved in many community conservation efforts. Paddling, paragliding, or dreaming of the next big adventure is where you’ll usually find him. Tyler embodies the KAVU lifestyle bringing a warm smile and plenty of stoke with him wherever he goes. We’re excited to see where Tyler goes next.

Short trip, let it rip!
