I’ve had my trail runner hat for 3 seasons!
I bought the winter version and the visor as well…
I’m tired of buying 2nd rate hats that don’t work for me so I’ll just buy more colors of the trail runner.
The key for me is… I never have to think or mess around with my hat during runs/races!
My goal is to get good enough at Ultras so that y’all sponsor me!

This is by far the best hat I’ve ever used.
The ventilation: perfect.
The aesthetic: perfect.
The fit: perfect.
I now have two of these (also bought the tie-dye) and will most likely never take another piece of headwear when hitting the trails or crag.
I bought a size medium and I have a decently large head. It’s great.
The bill is a length for running uphill and climbing on sport or boulders.

PERFECT HAT! I have been a lover of Kavu's regular canvas webbing hats for a long time, but this is my first of the trail runner style. I normally feel constrained wearing a hat while running, but this one is so lightweight it doesn't bother me at all! And it still has the excellent style/fit that makes me love the canvas hat so much. Perfect for rainy & sunny runs/walks in the PNW :)

I have worn this particular hat style for over 25yrs. My favorite fell apart 3 yrs ago on my trip to New Zealand- I still have it as it traveled with me to Europe & Nepal. I use them under my cycling helmet to help with bright sunlight besides hiking and everything else. I love the print on this new one.

My absolute favorite hat! The mesh on the forehead area keeps my head cool. I love the adjustment on the regular strapcap, but have found this style to be way easier to adjust, and it locks better. I think my favorite part is the smaller brim. I wish all their hats came with the small brim. If you're thinking of getting this hat just get one!!
