I purchased a Kavu Rope mini after seeing one on a fellow camper. She said she bought it for camping but loves it so much she wears it every day. I came home and purchased mine and agree, it is the most comfortable cross body bag of this type. I have one by another company that never fit comfortably. I like the bag. The velcro pocket could be something other than velcro, like magnetic snap. It didn't take long for the velcro to wear out. I had to sew in a snap.

I find that it hangs awkwardly and the ropes dig into my shoulder. It also doesn’t hold as much as I thought it would. It looks good and I’ll keep it, but I am surprised about how uncomfortable it is.

I really like this bag! I purchased it for travel and for my commute. The bag is able to hold all my neccessities (keys, wallet, phone) and the zippered internal pocket is perfect for keeping thinkgs like cash and passports safe while out and about.
The bag hangs and rests comfortably, and isn’t cumbersome. The rope strap is unique and gives the bag some personality. If you’re looking for a smaller bag, I’d recommend this. Price, style, and function - it’s all there!

This bag is the perfect size for carrying more than just a wallet and keys. It has multiple pockets, that are well protected, and hard to get to (so that pickpocketing is much harder)

love the cotton fabric. Very fast efficient delivery--received it four days after ordering!
I have two other small pack/purse bags, won't name the brand here, and find the shape and placement of the compartments more efficient than the KAVU.
Otherwise would have given KAVU 5 stars.

I really love the size and the pockets. I especially like the shape and how it conforms with the shape of your back, It is so easy to carry. Getting it off and on is easy as well. The thing that drove me crazy was the rope was smaller than the larger Kavu bag and it was scratchy as heck especially where it came into the buckle. It had some threads that had been heat sealed that continually poked and scratched my neck. I was afraid if I cut the threads out it would damage the bag so I ended up cutting a finger out of a glove and covering the area. That did not solve the scratchy rope problem. The larger bag has a larger, softer rope and I never had a problem with it. Overall I was very disappointed with the strap and will not be able to use it.

I love this bag, but I have only used it during a 1 week vacation last week, and there is discoloration from the sun (maybe a purposeful design?) and there is a seam coming undone.

The bag is well made a a good size. My complaint is that the fabric that holds the ropes is not very soft on the neck skin and is causing some irritation. My 2nd complaint is that when wearing the bag, I would love for it to stay in place across my chest but instead it migrates upwards and sits more at the clavicle and less at the ribs. The latter issue causes more rubbing of the rope holders. Overall not sure I'm happy with my purchase due to physical discomfort while wearing.

My daughter gave me a KAVU rope bag for Christmas last year. I can carry it everywhere I go and most of all it never falls off my shoulder. I had a bad habit of leaving my purse in the cart at stores I shop at. But no more with KAVU I am free to walk away from my cart with my KAVU on either in front of me or on my back it's also works great at check out. I don't have to dig through a purse to find my wallet. I decided to buy the smaller one and love that one too. Your bag is great!

I LOVE my new bag. I was very sad when the zipper on my old bag busted, but it was definitely my fault because I tried to fit a container of hummus in there that had no chance of fitting. This being said, I will not be putting hummus containers in my mini rope bag anymore. I will have to get a normal-sized rope bag for my hummus. I really do love this bag and so does my pup! The convenience is unmatched and the quality is impressive. The color is a very rich dark khaki kinda vibe. It's similar to the color of burlap but even better. I have gotten it plenty dirty within these first two weeks and it has 0 stains so far. Not even hummus stains.

Best bag ever! Great for daily use or just to keep extra items on you and keep mobile. Especially at festivals, fairs or day trips. You can carry sunscreen, glasses wallet and still have room for more! Very lightweight, fun color choices, but most of all these bags last the worst of the beatings, and will not let you down. Cellphone on the outside too! The ropes keep the wearing/using more comfortable than those nylon scratchy ones.

I have one of these bags in the larger size which had been my everyday bag for the past year. I use it as part diaper bag, part purse. I needed something durable, useful & fun while on the move with my toddler age Granddaughter, keeping my arms and hands free and not killing my arm carrying a purse, diaper bag & baby. This year I have switched to this smaller size as the diaper bag needs are no longer needed. It is a great bag for shopping or the beach. I now have added a Kavu wallet too inside. If I only need the wallet I pull it out and off I go. If I need to carry more or a water bottle, I grab the whole bag out of the car. Lightweight and durable. Great to through over the shoulder and keep the bag evenly weighted on your body. Oh and I am not athletic person, just love the comfort of the rope on my neck and the versatility and practicality of the bag.

My bag arrived so quickly and I was so excited to put my pins on and use it!! Kavu bags are the only bags I can wear that don’t cause me bag or shoulder pain and help me feel safe that my purse cannot be grabbed from me on the street or in the store. I have had my kavu bag for a year or two now and I put my school stuff in it. The quality is very good I have not seen one Sean come lose or nothing. I love the Design of it . I can fit 4-5 books in here at a time and it can hide things in school lake my phone and other stuff so please make some more with horse designs.
