Decades ago the Strap Bucket debuted as an original KAVU special. As the years passed it sadly disappeared from our main product line. But, did you know that all this time the Strap Bucket was living a double life as a top seller in our Japan licensed line? Word got out and now the heritage Strap Bucket is back! Still with the same beefy core canvas, heritage patterned tubular webbing, but better than ever in certified organic cotton canvas.

Organic cotton canvas bucket hat, adjustable chinstrap with cord lock, floppy brim, patterned nylon tubular webbing, interior moisture absorbing sweatband.

I wrote a review on the strap ball cap also. I bought both the bucket and the strap. I remember reading about this company in its beginning stages. Back then the internet wasn’t quite a thing, and I kind of lost sight of the company. Over the years I’ve bought a number of good quality hats and a bunch of low quality ones. Because I’ve been bald for decades, hats have been an important part of my life. Recently seeing the KAVU hats in a store while traveling, made me check out their site. These are my now go to daily hats. Love that they are US made. Great design, solidly built, comfortable fit. These hats are bomb proof and are going to make my head extremely happy for many years to come. (I wear the ball cap in the house. A first.)

Love my NW Ugly bucket hat. Fits so nicely and the strap keeps it in place. Black underside of the brim is visually soothing and side light is greatly reduced as the brim is a perfect size. Besides, it's not that ugly!
