The Elle short is the women's version of the KAVU Men's Big Eddy short. With classic KAVU moon scoop pockets, built-in belt, quick dry material, in a recycled nylon blend, these shorts are H2O approved. Wear these shorts and harness the KAVU spirit.

Relaxed fit mid-rise short, elastic waist with built in webbing belt with elastic roll band and cam buckle, half-moon pockets, mesh pocket bags, gusset, double needle reinforced seams.

Fabric: 4oz 100% nylon ottoman - quick dry!

I bought these at a store in Ouray because I always need more hiking shorts! I wore them twice and the stitching started coming undone near my inner leg. I hadn’t even worn them on a hike yet! Sad for how much they were.

I tried these on in store and at first I wasn't sure about them because they’re a bit baggier than other shorts I usually wear. But I seriously haven’t taken these off since buying them. I wear them everywhere, for everything. Rafting, mountain biking, to the store, to work. I just wish there were more colors so I could buy a different pair for every day so it could be less obvious that I never take them off. KAVU please make a pants version with the same material and rise- and also take all my money. I am obsessed with these.

I’m slightly bummed about my first Kavu experience. I tried on the Elle wave design shorts at a retail store but walked out without buying them. After more thought, I decided to pull the trigger and just order them online. The shorts I bought did not have the same buckle as the ones I tried on in the store. The tail sticks out like a penis in the front and looks ridiculous. Now I’m debating if I should return them or rig them up so the buckle stays flat in the front. ~Super bummed first customer.
