The unisex Rope Sling Bags fit the body like a bag should. It's similar in size (11" x 20") and design to its fraternal twin the KAVU Rope Bag with one exception: the Rope Sling is made of 600D polyester making it water resistant.
It also has an ultra-comfortable adjustable rope shoulder strap, two vertical zip compartments, two key or cell phone pockets, and a padded back with KAVU embroidery.
Plus, it comes in a wide variety of colors and patterns - so express yourself!
For theme park use - be forewarned! You will have to open all zippers/compartments at bag check. That's 5 compartments in this bag. I added a zipper pull on the left front compartment, it was difficult to access that zipper. In the right front compartment I put a slim water bottle. The top Velcro compartment is very small, had enough room for a couple of small items, like a lip balm, tube of mints, and a tissue. The bottom zip compartment was large enough to hold my phone, and easy to access. The little zip compartment inside the left front compartment is also very small, I couldn't zip it closed with a little coin and card case in it, I like that the rope strap is adjustable, nice to adjust over a coat, and then later make it snugger when wearing a t-shirt so it fit close to my back. It's also great that you can slide the bag under your arm for safety in crowds, or swing it around front to access phone in front zip pocket. It successfully repelled water when splashed on a water ride. The rope straps were surprisingly comfortable. One suggestion: the bag could use an outside slip pocket to hold maps, schedules or boarding passes.
I LOVE this bag and recommend it to everyone. I've used it daily for 5 years. One, I carried for 3 years and the second, for two. I have 3 very active young children and this bag is amazing for letting me keep up with them. I'd love a new pattern in the rope sling for Christmas but am not too crazy about the current rope sling patterns offered. I've learned this style works better for me since it's water proof. Will you be releasing new patterns very soon (in time for Christmas) or should I wait for my birthday in the Spring? Thanks for your insight!!

Works on the daily
LOVE This bag!! I have had the same one for 3 years now and I use it Every. Single. Day. It has just began to show a few wear spots, after 1250+ days of use I'd say it's as durable as they come. As my purse, my catch all, my hiking pack, my yak pack, my go to for every occasion bag! I am size 6 and it fits me perfectly, no matter the occasion or activity, that's the wonder of adjustable straps!
