Hartman Rector’s love of flight began as a ski jumper in Utah where he rose to World Cup level competition. From those heights he launched into cliff jumping and even the occasional leap from a building. Such as the time he and fellow KAVU athlete Marshall Miller parachuted from the top of the LDS Church Office Building in Salt Lake City (for which they are now forever banned from the premises). Recognized by his peers as one of the world’s best wingsuit pilots, he’s famous for short starts and long flights, and has tested his skills at prime flying locations around the world. As a KAVU brand ambassador, he brings infectious energy and a positive attitude to everything he does.
