The Original Strapcap is where KAVU started, born in 1991 from a need for a better-fitting cap that could handle wind, water, and long days outside. More than three decades later, it’s still hand cut and sewn in Seattle with the same low-profile shape, burly patterned webbing, and unmistakable KAVU construction. Built simple, built tough, and still the hat that started the whole thing.
