I love the brand but I made the wrong purchase.I had a previous one that I carried 4 years plus Mine was smaller but mine seemed to be made out of cloth A completely different material Then what I have Purchased I'm concerned about the durability Based On the material I completely enjoyed my old bag. And I hate that I threw it away. Thinking that I was getting the same thing. I would have continued to carry it on. But the purchase has been made and i'm not going to return it's a lesson learned

I have been really enjoying my new bag. I had recently purchased a sling bag from a different brand and found the fit off and the size too small. I upgraded myself and I couldn't be happier. I really like the front smaller pockets for my phone and wallet. I find it a comfortable fit and I really appreciate the ability to wipe things off the fabric. Overall I am very pleased!

Very cool looking. And integrating climbing rope into the strap is lovely.. But I have some serious improvements to suggest. I want a place to tuck in a pencil or pen. Also an interior zippered pocket big enough for my phone. There is only one inner zippered pocket and it’s small. In that I put my keys and things that must not be lost there. Like my folded in half checkbook.
The external little pockets are silly. The top one has a Velcro flap, not long enough for a pencil.. (see above design wishes) I put my earbuds case in there. The other external pocket is zippered on 2 sides. In there is my lip balm and eyedrops. Things I won’t kill myself if I lose, if it doesn’t get completely zipped back up.
Ok, final verdict: prettier than anything else, but needs some serious updating. I gave my carhart sling bag to my daughter - better design inside and out - but lacking in beauty.

Great bag! Have been using it on a trip to Banff National Park. It’s definitely waterproof as advertised! Love the front pockets, sling style and versatility with length. Would recommend a hook / loop to stow keys away inside. Have been using the inside zipper pocket for my wallet. Great color selections.

Haven’t used yet but sure it will work well. I love slings - much more so than backpacks. Glad Kavu makes a wide assortment of patterns and has a couple different sizes available. I wear mine on my chest for quick access to binoculars.

Perfect bag. My husband loved my blue Kavu so much, but wanted a sleek and subtle color. He tried 4 other brands of slings and returned them all. I bought him the Raven Kavu rope sling and he admitted no other bag would measure up. We just love the Kavu rope sling too much to settle for any other bag!

So dissatisfied I bought this bag and with 6-8 months it’s faded… it looks old and worn out which is a bummer because it’s a great bag. I highly recommend you do not buy a fabric that’s a cotton canvas blend or you’ll have the same. There is no return for this failure. I could see if it was after 2 years or something but within that period a bummer. (I rewrote this due to the word faded was autocorrected incorrectly)

I have bought 3 of the large rope sling bags! Love love ❤️ them! My hands are free and fight on my body great! They are rough and tough! Last forever. I even bought a new iPhone a iPhone pro max 15, but had to ask if I could try it out to see if it would fit in the front pocket of my bag! It sure did! So I bought the phone. If it didn’t I would have to find another phone that would fit! lol

Many friends love this bag but it does not work for me. I can’t make the strap small enough and it does not sit right on me. The small pockets on the front don’t really fit anything and the top one is not terribly secure. The larger pockets are awkward and there are not enough pouches to organize things well. It would be nice if it had mesh pockets on the outside for holding waters and such.

My daughter loved the bag! But it was supposed to be a graduation present and did not get here in time, in fact it got here 3 days later and I paid for expedited shipping and was told the warehouse could not do any order for awhile. Very disappointed with the way they handled the shipping. Will not do business again with thin just for the fact of the shipping issue. I gave it four stars because my daughter loved it.

I love the style of the bag…the pockets…the way i can hug it next to me. BUT!!! The zipper already broke as you can see in the photo! Talk about cheap! I’ve only been using it about 3 months and already broke. I gotta use it for now and just be careful about my contents not falling out. I was very disappointed. Get some good zippers on and I would reconsider another purchase but i cannot afford another $60 bag at the moment!
