I am so excited for my new KAVU PAXTON PACK!! I am always on the go at work and at play, and it makes “GOING, GOING, GOING” so easy!! It holds everything and then some! The pockets are placed perfectly for all the things!! Nice job KAVU!

This is a great upgrade of the other Kavu rope bags. Has extra pockets in a set-up that I really like. Very comfortable to wear all day.

I have had this bag for at least 10 years. I love it! Perfect for travel. Fits easily under airplane seats.

Love the inside pocket and overall design. I’ve been using it as my diaper bag. Washes well. Super bummed though that after a year and a half, the outside pocket is ripping. Big letdown as I expected at least two years out of this bag.

I love this bag so much in theory. In practice I'm still trying to adjust. I've always worn cross body bags crossed from my left shoulder to my right hip, as I am right handed and use my right hand to grab my bag and swing it over my head. I didn't realize until I ordered that all Kavu bags are designed to be worn the opposite way. It seems lkme this bag especially, since it has a fairly symmetrical shape, could be designed to go on either shoulder. The bag's orientation also puts the mesh pocket on the lower side when worn on the back, making it easier for your water bottle to fall out. I may get used to it, but right now I just don't love it as much as I hoped to.

Bag fit awesome and easy to use. I feel I can take it anywhere and it can handle the abuse.

Ergonomic and easy to sling over the shoulder. I'm a pack rat and it's big enough for all my stuff. It's also easy to access my wallet and things. I don't have to take my pack off to get to my things. And it's Stylish!

This is my third kuva bag, but first of this style. The original cross body bags tend to have a zipper death after two-three years, and since the Paxton has two zipper (heads? Connectors? Idk) I’m hopefull they’ll last longer. I already prefer the style; secret pockets! Large, mesh inner pocket!

I am disabled and having a cross body pack, works best with my assistive devices. Thank you Kavu for such a practical, and pretty addition to my wardrobe.

This is the second bag I’ve ordered from Kavu (3rd I’ve owned) and each experience was “5 Star” / 10 out of 10!! The sling bags are perfect for everyday life, great looking, lots of room, sturdy, and reasonably priced. The online shopping experience is easy; very user friendly. I received my bag in a timely manner with a personal thank you note and a Kavu coffee sample. I will definitely purchase again from Kavu. Great Job!!

I looked for a long time for the right sling bag. So many of them were not big enough for the things I need with me from day to day. The Paxton Pack is the only 11 L sling bag out there! Another concern I had was purchasing from a company who cared about the workers in their supply chain. I didn't see anything on Kavu's website about corporate social responsibility, so I emailed them several questions about their policies relating to responsibly sourcing their materials. Karlee got back to me right away with all the answers I was looking for. I am so excited to put my new Paxton Pack to use.

Love the bag, the size is perfect, very comfortable . What I don't like, is when I have my 22oz water bottle in the outside pocket, the bag slides forward from my back to my front hip.

I highly prefer a sling-type bag versus a daypack for day hiking trips and this Paxton Pack is by far the best one I have ever used, and see no reason to ever carry anything else at this juncture. The setup of the rope strap, buckle/adjustor and back padding alone: A+. Overall, the design and features are very solid and well thought out. When paired with a Shoulder Love you can pack all the essentials for a long day and comfortably carry a reasonable load. My current Paxton has so far performed like a champ while traversing several hundred miles of Missouri Ozark trails and terrain. My ONLY less than positive things to say: 1) Lack of color selection 20 months ago when I purchased mine (although Beach Batik is tolerable even in the Ozark wilds ;), and 2) a little lack of trust in the external zippers to really handle a stuffed tight bag. But that is it. I would gladly pay $30-$40 more for a few component upgrades/additions: - Heavier duty exterior zippers, maybe something like YKK water resistant ones - A couple or four well placed external D-rings - Heavier and more durable external pocket mesh and way to cinch down the opening - DWR coating - Heavier duty zipper for internal mesh pocket - Some MOLLE PALS webbing That said, the Paxton Pack is a killer sling bag. Great job KAVU! I'd recommend it to anyone. As I write this the Paxton is currently sold out, and the color selection of late has been very "limited", both of which really concern me. Hopefully it is back soon with a good color selection!

The colors on the website were deceiving. What I received wasn’t what I was expecting just because the colors were different. Other than that, the bag is great.

Love my Paxton pack doddle ribbon! I do wish it was just a little bigger & like some of the other reviews I feel for the price point it should have better quality zippers. Other than that it’s a great bag! It will get a lot of use this spring & summer. Love the key chain clip inside the front zipper & the side zip inside & the hidden pocket! I would recommend to anyone who is thinking about purchasing! This won’t be my last purchase from KAVU!!!

I was interested in the Sky Diamond Paxton Pack after seeing a friend with a similar rope bag. She advised me to go online and check out the Kavu site. I first noticed the pack specifically for its yellow color. I debated wether to order or not because of the warning that the yellow was more orange than depicted in product images. I called a store in town that carries the Kavu line in town. After speaking with the store owner, they advised me I would love the bag and it was a deep mustard yellow vs the orange described online. So i ordered it. It arrived very quickly, faster than expected. It was orange. Not the yellow color shown or that I was told I would be getting. While I am very dissatisfied with the color, the Paxton Pack itself is great!! I will not be sending it back and plan to use it. The rope sling is corded and not braided as others I have seen. It is not too uncomfortable to wear. I have gotten compliments for the Sky Diamonds Paxton Pack the one time I took it to work thus far.

This is probably my FAVORITE purse of all time - I own 3 and just ordered my fourth. My daughter loves them, my niece loves them. They are lightweight, comfortable to carry either over the shoulder or as a true backpack and I love all of the pockets. Whatever you do - pls keep making them. We love them!!!!!

Great Concealed weapon purse!!!!

This is my second Kavu bag (same model both times), and I love it. I’ve owned at least half a dozen sling bags, and this is my favorite. The outer zipped pocket fits my Smith & Wesson M&P 9MM in a holster, perfectly, and there is a mesh organizing pocket in the main compartment for snacks, plus the outer water bottle holder that fits a full sized Nalgene bottle. The hidden zipper compartment on the back fits my large iPhone. Love it completely!

I love the Paxton bag!! The one I purchased is the Island Canopy one and the colors in it are so vibrant and so pretty. I absolutely love it! I’ve been wanting a new one and as soon as I seen that one, I knew that was the one. The only downside is that I had to purchase the wallet that matched from another website. Which is fine with me but if you had it in stock, I would have purchased both from you all. That’s not anyone’s fault though, it may have sold out or it just wasn’t available. Either way, I’m very pleased with the bag and I would most definitely order again!

I use this one for work. I’m a nurse and we park a good distance from the hospital. I carry my change of clothes, snacks, water, and a few necessities. Love this bag!!

I use my jungle party bucket bag as a quick go to if i just need to grab a few things and hit the road. Has plenty of space. I just also received my paxton bag and have decided to use it for all my nursing needs. It holds all my gear including my stethoscope and my protective equipment. And large enough to hold a extra change of scrubs. Excellent choice for your professional needs and efficient enough to hold your drinks, lunch containers,or snacks as well! Love kavu! Heather B.

LOVE this style bag. I have a few different patterns in this style as well as another style. The Paxton by far is my absolute favorite! My only complaint is at the moment there are only 2 pattern options. That's very disappointing; I love to switch things up and just not able to do so with the current selection. As far as sturdiness, this meets all my expectations and holds way more than you could imagine! I'm an aspiring actress and when I'm on set, I always have my bag which holds my matching wallet, shoes, medications, snacks, drinks, charging dock etc. I did try the shoulder strap as it can get heavy and the rope can hurt. Was not happy with the shoulder strap. Wish they could design a built in strap that would provide a little more comfort!

I love this bag! It holds more than you think and it’s perfect for daily use. Very durable and I can tell the fabric and buckle is good quality. Pretty water resistant, as in if it were to be in a ten minute light rain or taken to the water park it won’t ruin the things inside. The water bottle holder is a nice touch as well. After seeing some comments about how loose it was I was afraid my bottle would fall out while biking. It hasn’t, at least yet, but I do believe they tightened it up. Really cool designs too. A bit pricey, but after careful consideration I decided it was worth it. 100% do recommend(:

I just got my bag. It is my second Kavu bag. I love the rope bags. My first one has fall leaves on it and my new one has cactus. I love the design and material. I use my bag daily. Easy and comfortable to wear and use!

I've had the Paxton pack for about 6 weeks. For the most part, I like it. My phone fits in the small zipper pocket in the back; my wallet is secure in the inside zipper pocket. I like the front pocket and the inside of the bag has lots of room. There are some issues, though. The first major issue is the "water bottle pocket." The pocket is so loose that my water bottle has slipped (or sometimes shot) out of that pocket when I've bent over with the pack on. It's annoying. It's happened so frequently that the water bottle pocket isn't actually useful for a water bottle. This seems that something Kavu could easily fix; and I hope they do. The second issue is the plastic clip. It sticks; frequently. This means that when trying to take off the pack I need to shimmy and coax the clip to come loose. Perhaps there are better quality clips that could be used. Lastly, the pen/pencil holders. While I like them, they are sort of shallow and placed too close to the zipper. This means that at times I have to hold the pen with my thumb while zipping the bag so the zipper doesn't get caught on the top of the pen. Fixable by moving the pen holder down 1/4 to 1/2" and/or changing the angle of the pen holder slot. Changing the angle seems to make the most sense so that the pens aren't held nearly perpendicular to the zipper. It would be easier to remove them if they were at more of an angle.

I really enjoy the roominess and durability of this bag.
